MY PHILOSOPHY

"Over the years, I have exhibited my art both domestically and internationally, contributing to ongoing dialogues surrounding identity, gender, and social justice."

I’m a figurative painter whose work explores environmental beliefs and cultural ties to the Black race. I use naturalistic elements with expressive exaggeration to reflect these themes. My art serves as a visual journal rooted in African culture and personal experience, connecting deeply with a broad audience, especially women.

Purpose / Why I Paint

I’m particularly drawn to highlighting the experiences and resilience of Black women. Through vibrant color palettes and emotionally charged subjects, I aim to shed light on their sacrifices, challenge societal norms, and spark conversations around injustice. My goal is to foster empathy and inspire viewers to advocate for positive change.
